MGMT/ENTP 6420 – Ethics: A Formula For Success
Wednesday 6:30-9pm

Topics include robotics, AI, privacy threats, state-sponsored hactivism, enhanced humans, drones, astronaut bioethics, information collection and more. Discuss examples of companies that are financially successful bu “doing the right thing.”

ENTP 6826 – International Business: An Entrepreneurial Perspective
Tuesdays 6:30-9:15pm

Offered by the Entrepreneurship and International Business departments, this course focuses on the intersection of International Business and entrepreneurship. The course addresses essential topics in international entrepreneurship (IE) theory and practice (e.g., IE opportunity identification, IE processes, and route to market) and highlight new topics in IE, including digital globalization (global buy, global transport, global pay) and new technologies driving IE (e.g., blockchain and the global supply chain). Leading practitioners and entrepreneurs will be facilitating these new modules, including IBM’s Program Director for Integration Services offering within Business Process Outsourcing (Julie Lockwood); global e-commerce entrepreneur and founder of Luxola (Alexis Horowitz-Burdick); and several board members of the Institute for International Business that are engaged in leading edge work on digital globalization (such as Solix Technologies, KPMG, and Norican Group).

The course is an essential course for IB and entrepreneurship majors and counts toward the IB requirement for MBAs and MS students.

RISK 6209 – Cyber Risk Management
Monday 6:30-9:15 Hybrid

Computer networks and the data that travels upon them are under constant and increasing attack. This course will focus on a discussion of how state and non-state actors utilize this form of asymmetrical warfare to infiltrate government and corporate networks, including how risk management strategies and mitigants apply.
